2.) INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT.

Customers are advised that the installation of racing components is a work for experts to be carried out in a mechanical workshop or equivalent structure, having available:

     2.a.) the workshop manual of the model,

     2.b.) the necessary equipment,

     2.c.) the appropriate technical skills and/or

     2.d.) the help of a skilled motorcycle mechanic.

3.) COMPLIANCE OF SPECIAL, MODIFIED VEHICLES FOR PUBLIC ROAD RIDING.

In case you ride a modified motorcycle or propose to modify one, in your specific interest RAM Italia brings to your attention that:

3a) While in some Countries the use on roads open to the public of modified vehicles is tolerated, in other countries such use is illegal, but it could be legalized after the owner has put the vehicle in accordance with the laws and local regulations, according rules that are unfortunately different from Country to Country.

3.b.) The vehicle owner is sole responsible for ensuring the compliance or acceptability of the changes made to the vehicle or on the basis of the laws and regulations in force in his specific Country.

3.c.) It follows that, prior to riding a modified vehicle on public roads the owner has the responsibility for submitting the modified vehicle for approval,  with an inspection at the Department of Transportation or other organization in charge, following which the vehicle could be registered as a "special vehicle".

3.d.) Unless a specific information to the contrary, all products designed, manufactured and sold globally by RAM Italia through the site www.ramitalia.net are of the "Competition Only" type, meaning sold exclusively for use on closed race circuits.

3.e.) The use on public roads of  "Competition Only" components is therefore not recommended, unless this can not be allowed in the country of registration of the vehicle according to the procedures set out above in the four points a.), b .), c.), & d.).

3.f.) RAM Italy would advise not to make changes to the vehicle before having verified that the modified vehicle will remain roadworthy in its country of registration, or be prepared for its further approval as a special vehicle, this prior of riding on public roads.
